Okay, so you may know about the fight between Jason and Jack. It pisses me off that two of the coolest people in Detroit Rock could act like that.
I was about five feet away from them, laughing at Meg who was sitting on top of a speaker drinking a drink when I heard a ruckus and I looked at Jack on the floor wailing on Jason. Then i saw how badly jason was hurt. Then I lost all respect for both of them.
Blanche was great! They sound really good. My pal dragged me and since I figured it was a band on Ben Blackwell's label, they'd be good. And they were! Great...

I linked someone on here... I was on TBlurt and she said "I miss Detroit", so I clicked on her name... Holly Moody... hmmmm... she's okay, she sounds like she's a teenager...
It was Meg White's birthday yesterday and I went barhopping to see which bar they threw her party at, but I couldn't find anything but the usual Wednesday crowd. Maybe they're doing it on Saturday.

Currently listening to the Come Ons, Hip Check
So, I got off of work and instead of coming straight home, i decided to stop at Under the Eagle for some blintzes, I look in my wallet and see that I have NO money whatsoever. I was pissed. I look in my car and see if it's there, but it's not. Now I'm really pissed. I call Rick on my mobe and ask him if I left my money at the store and he said I didn't. I had my paycheck in there!!! I had $54 dollars along with it. My only hope is that I find it before Jim (my boyfriend) gets back from Toronto.
Jim's mom isn't feeling very well, so he's there. I would be there and all, but I can't.
I got tickets to see the Dirtbombs at the Magic Stick on New Year's Eve! I haven't seen them in a while. They are on tour right now without the assistance of the always helpful Jim Diamond. I heard Ko is filling in. This would be nice. The last time I saw Ko was with Holly Golightly at Small's.
I might go out to Hamtramck or the Corridor tonight if I'm in any sort of mood to do so.
Saw Brian Muldoon the other day at Kroger's. I said hi to him. He seemed startled that I knew who he was. Then I reminded him that not only am I a big Upholsterers fan, he upholstered my loveseat a few months back. He didn't remember me. Oh well.
I need to go shopping again for my interview with the Villiage Voice in NYC. That'll be fun! I can't wait! I have never been to NYC my entire life, and I have a job interview. Sure, the Voice wants a record store employee on their staff! :roll:
I saw the EMAs this morning. Is it just me, or are Jack and Meg slowly becoming less like Detroiters?
